Actually the problem is: I don't have it installed (it's been more than 1 year since I last uninstaled it) and it seems it's still installed.

Needless to say I have reinstalled the game, cleaned my registry many times and even searched for any remaining key on "regedit".

Here are the facts.

The new races aren't available, so up to now, nothing's wrong.

The things got strange when my party finally reached lvl 100 (like 1 month ago). I thought they would stop at it, but their base lvl keeps raising (they're 102, almost 103 now). I don't want that 'cause it won't allow me to train all skills to lvl 100 (exp dimishing according to lvl difference of mobs and my chars). =/

Now I've noticed another strange glitch: I started a new game and picked Deru up at the very beginning. She was lvl 3, but had 2 extra unspent skill points (wich is a feature of Succubus Mod if I remember correctly).

Im scared. I don't want this new party to lvl over 100 too, for I want the most balanced builds and no char over lvl 100 again (it ruined my old main party :( ).

Here are the MODs I've been using:

Storage Vault 14x19 Beta 4
Ring removal
Object highlight
Aranna Legacy Alpha 2o (latest)
Pet War Hound Beta 10m (latest) + Morden Snow Canyon Alpha 9 (latest)

NOTE 1: when my old party raised above lvl 100 I was still using Aranna Legacy Alpha2m or smthing. The new party was created under Alpha2o already.

NOTE 2: I've had some problems with file corruption and replaced files sometimes. Could it have caused this kind of problem?

If the Succubus Mod is still installed/working (it has its own installation routine, also check related folders yourself once) the max hero level would be 125.

In the Aranna Legacy Mod the max level is 103.
On the Broken World map (elite mode) there are a few monsters with level 100, and assumed ambitious players have a higher level they can maintain this surplus until the end without suffering the level-cap. That's the simple reason for these 3 extra levels (and more than level 103 isn't possible with original exp curve).

Indeed it also can be an ambitious intention to max all classes, and related on exp I can understand that you need a generic cap to stop your uber level from increasing, otherwise you can't level the rest of your classes due to the native exp stepping within a foreseeable time frame.


Regardless if the level cap is 103 or 125, the MonsterLevel Adjustment Mod may help you here a lot. If installed beside of the Aranna Legacy mod then 'Alin' the Elf next to the Teleporter at Eirulan will sell you a 'Rune of Mending'. Just drop this item out of your inventory and it will follow you automatically to raise the levels/exp of any monsters nearby.


I'm sorry for the inconvenience if the Aranna Legacy mod was the 'guilty' mod that made you grow beyond level 100. However i wish you good luck with your most balanced builds ;) and of course - a happy new year!

Thanks for the fast reply, I was really sad about it. Since I know it's just the lvl cap that was slightly raised, I can relax now. I thought my party would go all way up to lvl 125 (assuming I could) and that I wouldn't be able to raise the "lower" skills.

I had completely forgotten the lvl adjustment MOD, thanks for reminding me of it.

Have u added this note on the readme file (about raised level cap)? I'm searching it all over again and can't find this (althoug I know the readme is really big and maybe CTRL+F is not working properly or is just me who can't find it).

Because i can't find it neither. :eek:
It never has been added or went lost anyhow. I will (re)add it next.
