Perhaps someone can help me here. I downloaded the official storage chest that was made available but I cannot for the life of me get it to work (unless it spawns somewhere I simply can't see). I've followed the instructions to the letter and have even gone so far as to reinstall the entire game in order to get it to work but nothing has helped.
To risk making myself look like an idiot, I am looking at The Camp right after having left Flemeth's hut.
Does anyone know offhand where I could find some reliable help in getting this to work? I 'm not really wanting to progress much farther into the game without having one.
ETA: If this info is needed, I have the latest patch (at least I think I do; it's labelled as DragonAgeOrigins_v1.02_Patch ).
Storage Chest
You'll have to complete the Warden's Keep quest in order to get that storage chest. Got this information from GameFAQs. If I recall correctly, the quest giver (some guy whom I can't remember) is standing at the next to the dwarven merchants in the camp.
P.S. Hello and welcome to the forums.

''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Not ENTIRELY true, DesR85. There is a mod released that places a Chest in the Party Camp (Which I use). It's behind the tent where Oghren will stand after Orzammar is completed. Near where the Ally supply crates stand (once one is completed).
Files with the Dragon age extension (like the DLCs) need to have some crazy installer to use. did you do that correctly?
