Prologue Items/XP

Hey there,

first of all, I know about the way to keep all the items from the Prologue by gathering all the stuff you can get with T3 and then pressing the 'Skip Prologue' button.

My question is, what happens to all the items and XP if you don't use that glitch? Do you get the stuff later when you control T3 again? Is it lost forever?

It just doesn't make any sense to me why there's such an abundance of items in the Prologue while you don't need them at all and lose them later anyways. Furthermore from my last runs through KotOR2 I remember never having used the glitch but still being keen on gathering all the stuff there is to get in the Prologue :>

The prologue is just a tutorial for noobs who need to learn the controls. Why is that difficult to understand?

The items are there so you can learn about getting items. That's...really the only reason why you can get them.

I play the prologue, even though it IS a tutorial, because it explains why the Ebon Hawk is at Peragus.

You don't get the XP later; T3, like all the characters, starts at a set level and amount of XP when you get him. Anyway, no XP can be gained (in practical terms) ANY time the main character isn't in the party, including the Sith tomb mission.
