Finally found BG!

Post by Robin_Hood »

Yo yo yo! I bought BG about a week ago and I've been very busy playin it! It rocks!!! And there are hot chicks in the game too :) Jaheira, Dynaheir...at least them ;) Just too bad there is no real char interaction. At least this far. But it's nice to hear sometimes things like: Kivan: "Your bravery shames the others" and Ajantis replying: "I thank you for your compliment"

My party right now:

Dwarven fighter
Ajantis
Minsc
Yeslick
Imoen
Dynaheir

By the way, Khalid is hella annoying, I really don't get why Jaheira stays with a wimp like him :D :D :D
Centuries ago in England........It was an era of chivalry and magic. The evil Prince John unleashed an iron fist of tyranny upon the people. They called out for a champion.........one man answered that call. His name, was Robin Hood. Fearless in his quest for justice Robin Hood challenged the power of the high warlords. While protecting the helpless and the poor. Willing to face death for what he believed, along with the beautiful, lady warrior, Jaheira, the mighty Minsc, and the wise Keldorn. Robin Hood forged a legend that lives on today in............

How to "deal" with Khalid and keep Jaheira at the same time:

1st method: Remove his armor and weapons and have him solo the Firewine Bridge ruin.

2nd method: Have him read a cursed scroll of Petrification.

:D :D :D :D
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Robin, unfortunately, there's no more character interaction, either. To hear the Bioware folks tell it, they learned a lot from much of the character stuff in Planescape: Torment. None of this makes BG1 a bad game; just a different one.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I don't why anyone has the problem with Khalid - Just kill him and kick out of the party.

I did that many times - He was really annoying - I understand that Jaheira as a bossy girl liked this type of people that could be easily controlled (But she changed her mind in BG2 :D :D )
So sayeh

I've played the game very much lately, now I've just killed the assassins who were about to murder Duke Eltan...I just gotta say: A GLORIOUS GAME! I just love it. Even without the NPC interaction, it's sooo nice, and there is that pre-interaction mentioned before. This game rocks, and so do the NPCs. I hope we'll meet some of them in ToB. I mean, you were able to meet a few in SoA, like Coran and Tiax but I would love to see Yeslick or Ajantis. I mean imagine, Ajantis could be sent to Saradush by the Order and you could meet him there and maybe even get him to side you for a fight, like Drizzt and the paladins and stuff...would LOVE that :D :D :D

@ Cloud

It's a real shame isn't it. However Manveru has created Ajantis and a load of other NPC's from BG1. Look at the BG2 forum and look under 'Old Friends From BG1' ( I think!)
