BG and netbooks

I am wondering if a netbook could run BG and BG2 with expansions with an external disk drive? Addiionally i am running windows 7 starter on this netbook. any info on this will be much appreciated.

As long as you have the right install settings or the correct patch for the game it should be able to fully install to any removable storage device. The only problem you might have with this is if you try to play the game on a different computer than the one you did the install on. As far as the netbook goes you shouldn't have any problems that I am aware of. Windows 7 however, some of my friends have been having trouble playing their older games on a Windows 7 computer although I haven't heard anything about BG yet, mostly it's old RTS games.
