Jack Loyalty mission bug question (possible spoilers)

at the end of the mission when you get to the final room and talk to the man who hired the mercs and you get to the part in the conversation where you say that you want to A) just leave and blow it up or B) talk to jack about her room. When i played the first few times everything was fine, but that last couple times i played that mission when i choose stay and talk to jack for a bit it lets you out of the conversation but then it goes straight to the cutscene of the installation blowing up. what is going on?
