How can I extract the voices?

I think one reason I love BGII so much is because of the awesome voice acting. There's a lot of it and it really adds a lot.

My question is this: How can I extract the voice sound files in such a way that they are a normal format that I can easily listen to?

I managed to extract the voice files a while back, but they came out in some bizarre MPEG 2.5 format that I couldn't play.

Any advice?
