What patch do I download?

Where do I get the add-on for the new classes (Bard, Barbarian, ect -- I think it's called "Hellfire")

Where can I get some user guides/instruction manuals for this game and it's new classes?

For user guides I would recommend Jarulf's Guide to Diablo and Hellfire

Patch 1.09 is the most recent Diablo I patch

I would get Hellfire the same way I shop for any other video game.

You might notice that it's at discontinued collectible status by now though. ($70!) So you might try searching for the torrent if you're into that (I found it easily).

For what it's worth, it's considered a very poor expansion that clashes with the original game anyway. There's only one new class- the monk. The other "secret classes" aren't really new just the old warrior and rogue chars with different names (barbarian and bard, respectively). They were just test classes and you have to edit some game files just to get them to show up.
