Tower of Deception: What does the book do?

You know how you have to give that book to the guy, well it said that your magic ability might get stronger one day and you might be able to crack it.

What does that mean? Is it possible? Do you get a "special" ability if you do it?

And what are up with the dryads?

It's from the Tower of Deception mod.
At the time being the book does nothing though the author said that in a future release he will implement "some" use for it but that was long time ago.

Have in mind that Ustrain will make his return near the end of SoA and it can be quite a fight (dependent on what version you have installed - with or without IA)

. But, since you have his book, it may turn out different. Also the mod hasn't been updated for some time now.

Damn, ToD had a pretty damn good story going on as well.

Hopefully they will update it.
