Playing Heart of Winter
Playing Heart of Winter
I beat Belhifet. Then I removed the icewind dale disc & loaded the Heart of Winter disc, and installed. Clicked autorun, selected 'create game', select 'Expansion only', said Yes to importing original characters. when clicked 'done', received screen stating that disc not loaded or couldn't be read. had to click 'alt f4' to escape. Can anyone tell me how to play the heart of winter expansion with my original characters at the levels they were at before beating Belhifet?
Have you tried different discs?thehooter wrote:I beat Belhifet. Then I removed the icewind dale disc & loaded the Heart of Winter disc, and installed. I always go to Kuldahar and the Shaman there to start HoW before even going to Easthaven the final time.
HoW No disc error
I am having the same problem. I completed IWD and then installed HoW. When I create a game and select to play the 'expansion only' I get told I need to insert a disc.
If I load a previous saved game and then go to the Shaman and have him take me to the expansion I get the same problem. I have the DVD version of IWD. Its does not matter if I put the IWD DVD in or the HoW CD I get the same problem.
Any ideas? I really want to continue the adventure
Thanks for your time
