Can you die in Fable 2?

Can you die in Fable 2?

I know if your character dies, you lose an experience and get resurrect. But can you die in Fable 2 if you ran out all of your experience? Or if you die in Fable 2 which it gives you a game over screen like "You are dead" and you can restart from save point or you can go back to the main menu?
