Is it just me or is this normal??? I am waiting sometimes upto 60 seconds or more to save a game or to reload a saved game.

The whole sysem appears clunky to me. Is any one else suffering the same problems or is there a patch I am missing???. It is really spoiling the game for me. :( Otherwise everything about the game is fine

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I remember someone here pointed out that having 100 or 1000 plus save games will slow down the game's loading. Delete the unused ones and see if it helps (aside from installing the Enhanced Edition patch DW mentioned here).
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

To all that are interested,

I deleted some 425 saved games, other than "auto saves", this is out of some 690 and at the beginning of chapter IV where it was taking between 2 to 3 minutes to either save a game or load a game formally, rather that hitting F9. (quick load) :)
The result was dramatic, all done and dusted in some 15 seconds
