Getting the Duchal treasure

Okay, so I've wandered around the basement, found the chest with all the treasure, avoided the guards, but I can't find the bloody key to open the chest. I've tried pickpocketing, searching for hidden doors, and pretty much every trick I know. How the hell do you get into the damn chest?

There is no key;

As far as I can tell you need an ultra high pick locks ability.

It's very difficult.. and unless you've used the secret switch you shouldn't need the loot thats in there (what are you going to buy in for the remainder of the game with 20k worth of loot???).

If you can pick it, you should also be able to Knock it...

How do you get the Duchal Treasure????

I have tried everything for this bloody treasure. I drank enough ppotions to get pick lock to 250, any higher and it returned to 0, and it didnt work, and there were also some chests upstairs that I couldnt open with max skill...was hoping there would be a key in them...I pickpocketed the guards in the basement, I killed them, I knocked on the chest, I tried forcing it, AGH does ANYTHING work???
I thought there might be a key somewhere dodgy. If anyone has ever found a key and not known where to use it tell me! I wanna know whats in that chest!
