Fable TLC Chapel of Skorm

Hi,
I'm having a lot of trouble getting Skorm's Bow from the Chapel of Skorm. I've already sacrificed about 20 people in all at around midnight. The least points I got for a single sacrifice was about 35-40 and the most about 150-160. My evilness is that my guy's horned head is at the middle of the alignment bar and the red bar goes all the way to the left, which I'm guessing means full evil...(though I had an aureole on my head before I started sacrificing). I also sacrificed 3 merceneries. I've read several threads and walkthroughs on this topic and it seems that there is an evil point total to get (I've seen 500 and 1000), although I would think I'm about at 1000 now. Please reply!! and thanks!!

Never mind. I reloaded and sacrificed a merc. Got 542 points and the bow =D.
