spoiler-- what type of followers can you get in fallout 3

Post by WeeZer666 »

as you read the post title...how many followers are there in the game? and whats the best so far i think Jericho is the best....but not really helpful if your a person with good karma....i know you can get chorion in underworld and clover in paradise falls...so what i'm really asking is how many are there and how to get them? and if you need good or bad karma to acquire them...or a lot of caps...

on you post about fallout 3 partners

Fall out 3 has a lot of followers to get them you got to have a karma lvl that they relate to when you try to get some one it may say your karma is to low or to high as to how many im thinking around 10-12 ppl can get with you thats with(all DLC,and/or on the game of the year promo pack for the game you can get in the store)you can have 2 members with you dogmeat(which is found in scrap yard does not count as a member he just goes where you go so you can have dog meat and anouther one but then the games to easy)theres a few thast i know of one is a paladen at the citadel/brother hood of steel HQ(got to have good karma)then theres anouther few.Rlly if you get the paladen from brother hood HQ you got the only person you need rlly in the game there is one other thoguh it is a super mutent its close to the last quest on the main story line. His name is flaks he needs good karma he is who you meet at the end of valt 82 the one where you get the geek i hope this helps

Other than the spelling errors your pretty much saying that the only good followers you can get during the game with no DLCS are Fawkes and the captin wandering the labatory in the citadel....wow...i always thought Jericho was god like with his Chinese assault rifle....and i also found out that he can wear power amour....Guess i'm gonna have to play the game with good karma from now on...

followers

well yea he is one of the best till you get to the part in the main quest line where you enter the citadel then you got the paladen which is the best till the super mutent(still dont know how to spell his name) also any body can where the power armor all you got to do is take all there items and put the armor in there inventory then they will wear it but those are the 3 best in order(jeraco, paladen, then the super mutent)

srry for all the spelling errors i type so fast i make ALOT of typos lolz

also sont forget you can have dog meat and one of the other 3 at the same time so if you want to beat it on hard it helps(thats how i beat it on hard)

There are at least 7 I know of, including Dogmeat. Some were previously mentioned but I'll list them too, along with where you can usually find them, what karma you must have for them to agree, and my personal opinion of their pros and cons.

Star Paladin Cross - Citadel, good karma, pro: power armor, con: can't carry much loot and kind of lame in combat unless you give her a powerful weapon

Fawkes - Vault 87, good karma, pro: gatling laser and carries a ton of loot, con: can't think of any.

Jericho - Megaton, evil karma, pro: Chinese assault rifle, con: pretty much middle of the pack at everything else.

Clover - Paradise Falls, evil karma, pro: can carry more stuff than anybody except Fawkes & RL3, con: fragile & lame in combat unless you give her some really good gear.

Sgt. RL3 - outside RobCo facility, neutral karma, pro: plasma weapon & flamer totally dish it out, con: not as pretty as Clover or Fawkes :)

Charon - Underworld, karma doesn't matter because you purchase his contract, pro: his ridiculous combat shotgun seems almost as accurate as a hunting rifle even at long range, con: middle of the pack at everything else.

THe Hair-dresser/barber from Vault 101 can become a companion, tho I never got him.

After your "return" to the Vault, he goes to Rivet City, the lower Bar. Low-medium Karma.
