So I played through BG1 tutu with my kensai which I plan to dual to a mage somewhere in SoA. The first game was fun, I had banterpacks, a questpack and a pretty interesting romance with Dynaheir and I finished the game with the "canon" party of Minsc, Jaheira, Khalid, Imoen and Dynaheir.
Now it is time for all the mods in BG2 and there is a LOT of mods! However, I have scoured the internet for advice and have actually checked through the Big World Project documentation just to be sure that I have the optimum order of installation for this great endevaour. Note that I am playing through the game for the second time and I am primarily after advice for optimum mod installation order, please feel free to correct this order if I am doing some big mistake.
BG2 Mod Installation Order:
Comprehensive altering mod:
1 - Ascension (Apparently overwrites things and should be installed before the fixpack)
Fixpacks:
2 - G3 BG2 Fixpack v 9.01 (Not installing Super Happy Fun Modder Pack)
3 - Baldurdash v 1.68 (Not multiple Strongholds, Grand Mastery Fix, Dual Wielding Fix for Rogues or Textupdateback)
Revisions:
4 - David Weimers Item Upgrade Pack
5 - Spell Revisions (Not installing new avatars for devas)
6 - Oversight
NPC mods:
- None (It seems the majority of BG fans hate most NPC-mods, but I still have the NPC entry here for its natural order in the mod installation sequence and am still thinking about adding Kelsey or Solaufein)
7 BG2 BANTER PACK
8 IEP Extended Banters v 3.2 (No Banter Accelrator, will use the one from BG2 BANTER PACK)
9 IEP Extended Banter Packs (For Viconia, Mazzy, Yoshimo and Imoen, installed in that order)
10 Dearnise Romance
11 Flirt pack
QUEST PACKS
12 UNFINISHED BUSINESS (No Bhaalspawn powers due to them being included in Ascension, no original portraits and no Sarevoks remorse also due to an Ascension conflict)
13 Dingo Questpack (No revised Hell trials due to a conflict with the fixpack, no additional Shadow Thieves content as it apparently makes all the thieves go hostile)
14 Romantic Encounters
15 Every Mod and dog
16 Planar Sphere
17 Spellhold Gauntlet (No shorter scenes)
18 Tower of Deception
19 Dungeon Crawl
20 G3 Anniversary Mod
21 Assasinations
22 Turnabout
23 Redemption (Feel it to be too much with an Irenicus NPC, but I like the notion of him making a return of SOME kind in ToB)
24 Wheels of prophecy
25 Throne of Bhaal revisited (Comments on this would be GREAT)
TWEAKS
25 Song and Silence
26 Rogue Rebalancing
27 Ding0 Tweak Pack
28 Sword Coast Stratagems II
29 BG2 Tweak Pack
BG2 Mod installation order need some help
Everything really looks fine? And as far as BaldurDash goes it says in the BWP documentation that the things I stated I will install from there is NOT seen to in the fixpack so it was therefore I included it along my mods.
Hmmmm if I hear one more person stating that all looks fine I will continue with the install...

"Baldurdash v 1.68 (Not multiple Strongholds, Grand Mastery Fix, Dual Wielding Fix for Rogues or Textupdateback)" :
*Not multiple Strongholds - there was something along these lines in either the Tweak Pack or SCS II
*Grand Mastery Fix - in the Tweak Pack
*Dual Wielding Fix for Rogues - in Rogue Rebalancing
*Textupdateback - not sure what you mean but the Fixpack contains textupdate
EDIT : Also about the Quest Pack, hopefully you also got the hotfix patch. It fixes quite some bugs left in the official release and some nasty ones too.

You might find it useful to have a look at a thread I posted last week. It summarises all the info I've gathered over the last five years or so about what order to install mods. Its pretty similar to yours, but one or two clarifications and differences.
Just an aside - that's a hell of a lot of mods to be using in just one game. It includes some fairly large mods (like Tower of Deception). I've been told two rules of thumb -
1/. the larger each mod is, the more chance you'll have of incompatabilities with other mods.
2/. the more mods you add, the more chance you'll have of incompatabilities.
If this is only your second game you may just find it utterly overwhelming - and you also won't be able to tell what changes and additions come from which mod. I tend to always use G3 Fixpack, and Tweakpack, plus one or two items only mods. Then I stick to one mega mod, or perhaps 2 or 3 smaller expansion/quest mods; and maybe one new NPC at a time.
