Console Trouble

Post by LordAtaxia »

So...I'm having issues getting the console to come up. What file(s) do I need to edit? And then what keys do I hit after those are edited? Also, will I need to start a new game for it to work? Thanks.

Ok, I followed the instructions there. However, my issue now is that, when I hit ctrl+space, it doesn't bring up a box for me to type in. It just shows that the game is paused.

Edit: Well, as my BGII dialog.tlk (and prolly a bunch of other stuff) is pretty much chopped to hell, I think I'll reinstall the whole damn game. I'll try reworking the CLUA then. Thanks.

I have no idea why this works but sometimes when I've installed a load of mods my CLUA doesn't work until I write both Cheats=1 and Debug Mode=1 in the file. Also in my current install it's not called an ini file, its called Configuration Settings.

Ah, ok. I'll do that then. And yeah, I figured out that the Configuration Settings IS the .ini file. (I'm faily familiar with .ini files, lol.) Thanks a lot. :)
