Cannot Enter Baldur's Gate

Post by Bigmark »

I just finished cleaning out the cloakwood mines and went to Wyrm's Crossing. I paid the tax of 6 Gold pieces to the guard and Scar asked if I was the one responsible for clearing out the cloakwood mines or something like that. I said no. I can't enter Baldur's Gate. I have finished all of the chapter 5 stuff except for anything inside of baldur's gate. How do you enter baldur's gate? Is their something I'm missing? I'm playing Baldur's gate with the TOSC expansion pack. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Are you still able to talk to Scar? Can you walk past where he's standing to the very top of the area?

Scar is gone. I can cross the bridge and move to every part of the Wyrm's Crossing area. I have gone to each edge of the screen attempting to enter Baldur's Gate but it is light colored, like it was before chapter 5 was completed.

Have you passed a gnome named Quayle?

Directly to the left of him, you should encounter a wall (I think). You can actually go "under" this wall and get the travel symbol.

On this map, provided by GameBanshee, it would be right to the left of the number three.
