help

Post by Melissa »

I feel pretty silly, but I can't get past the Cappadocians in the Petrin Monastary. Every time I go against them they send me and Wilhelm into torpor. This is the only other Pc RPG I have played besides Unreal, and it is very different!!! Help would be very much appreciated.

Are you referring to Mercurio, or just the cappadocian vampires? There are two very different ways of bi-passing these problems

To lorizgirl

Just in general I would make sure that both your charactors have half or more in thier blood pool stat, anything less and they would be more prone to frenzy. You could get your blood pool supply up by feeding off the monks in that area (just make sure you don't overfeed on any one monk or you could kill them) or you may find some rats near the blacksmith shop which will also increase your charactors blood supply. You might also invest and buy your charactor at least leather armor before going into the dungeon. Sell any healing potions you may have left (as you will not be able to use those as a vampire) for some gold.
When going though the dungeon move a couple steps at a time to draw out the monsters so they don't overwelm your party.
In the future invest some experience points in wits so your chractors is less prone to frenzy (at that point when I played christoff I had his wits stat at least at 35-45).

Could you give us more details of your what you are doing exactly in battle?
Yin and Yang balance. There is one within the other. No Difference in Reality. What do you experience?

Using a combination of Domination or Presence disciplines, and then taking on one or two at a time (If it's one, you can suck him dry! :D )

Do you have the stupendous Bone-of-Ass-Kicking? you can find it in the Cappadocians lair. I believe it is the Tzimizice Femur...

Hello,
Well the thing you need to do is kind of like a hit and run method...you can take Wilhem's bow and hit one of the Cappadochians with it....or you can simply walk in there and walk back...take them on one at a time if they overwelm you...use this same technique in the Nosferatu tunnels....hope it works for you

Another good method is to use dominate, then drink their vitae when they're zombified. I did it, and it worked quite well.

That is a good technique for the Petrin Hill...but Nosferatu are a bit tougher because of their spell of invisibility...I used the woman (whatever her name is) heightened senses to detect them then I would pull them...other techniques are welcomed though....

Yes...the Tzimizi femur bone works quite well against Mercurio...just focus on him don't worry about his pets...hit him hard so he doesn't spew his plague cloud....he should fall farely quickly...
