Help with B-Rated Writer

Ok,
I've been playing off and on for alittle over 2 years and the last couple days for me have been very engrossing loss of time and the usual stuff when you finally find a game that causes you to loose all track of time.

ok on to my question ok I have the D2D version of Vampire - Bloodlines that I bought way back in jan 2007 and have finally started playing had the Official patch installed only got to Hollywood and got the second quest from VV B-Rated Writer I go to the Luckystar hotel and I save before I enter and afterwards I enter and as the screen loads up David falls dead straight through his counter and I fail the mission. So I searched and I found Wesp5's unofficial plus patches and installed all of them useing Getright Downloader everything appears to be running ok get back into game and load up the save in front of Luckystar Hotel and enter again still no luck David dies just as the game loads to that area and falls through his counter, quite annoying as i don't want to get on VV's bad side.

I play the PC version Window's 7 32 bit Explorer 8 Getright DL and bought the game from D2D.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also when I enter Hollywood where the cab is across the street is a bus or Taxi stop I see a Kindred turn to ash and suffer final death and drop a police special but no one was around him it was wierd.

So I searched and I found Wesp5's unofficial plus patches and installed all of them useing Getright Downloader everything appears to be running ok get back into game and load up the save

You can't continue an old saved game after patching. A lot of data is saved that may not be compatible with the patched game. Also you only ever need the latest version of the unofficial patch, not all of them .

This is a known side effect of saved game incompatibility, all NPCs on the hubs turn to vampires. If you don't want to restart, you may try continueing from a saved game before a new main hub is opened.

Or uninstall the patch, probably not only safer but items have been rearranged in several patches - you might miss some and get duplicates of others.

Try an earlier save and see if he's ok there.
