Unknown World Help (Pretty Please) (May Contain Spoilers)

So far I have had no problums, but when i got and talk to the Elder Guild infront of the temple, they do the whole chant and when that old guy walks up and tell you, you cant go in alone, and i select a responce, at the top of the screen what he said is gon like its going on to the next conversation, but it doesnt, the character moves and i can stil hear the music but nothing happens, i really dont know what to to, got a nice character almost full dark, but now i cant move on, it getting to the point where i'm thinking about starting over again, im on the xbox system and i have no clue what to de, help me please

For the record, I have had similar problems and simply reloading the game usually helped. If this is an ongoing problem, the only thing which comes to mind is to check to make sure that patches are up to date.
