Theif 7 Trap per area limit help

Post by Mrblond3 »

Hi, ive beaten Balders Gate 2 as a Bounty hunter in the past. Ive started playing again though from scratch with TOB installed. I am aware traps got upgraded but you can only have 7 up per area. My question is though is their anyway to take down your existing traps or are you just stuck with them once their up for the whole game? I had hoped it would just have overwritten one of my other traps and place a new one as long as 7 or less were up total, however that is not the case. Does anyone know how I can remove traps I have setup? And also how big is the Area in question, a zone? a whole dungeon? thanks.

The only way you can remove your traps is by having enemies set them off.

An "area" is an entire map. So, say, Ribald's store would have a trap limit and then Waukeen's Promenade would have a whole different counter for traps.

Or you could just install the Gibberlings 3 Tweakpack component that removes trap limits.
