Witcher 2
Anyone here planning on getting Witcher 2? No DRM sounds really nice, but honestly I could not get into the first game. The main character was unlikable (at least to me), the abundance of over-sexualized women actually turned me off, and I couldn't stand the quick-time combat (at least from what I played of the demo). Despite all the RPG goodness I heard about it I still wasn't able to enjoy myself. Still, there's basically no other RPGs around now that I'm actually looking forward to and my only hopes are that the next Elder Scrolls isn't full of stupid
. I haven't really had time to look up on Witcher 2 info besides seeing that trailer where the main character ****s that girl in the water.... to which I let out a large sigh.

I definitely grab The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings.
Enjoyed the first The Witcher. Played the non-EE and the EE version.
It has a great story and it plays like a book. There are some though deciscions to made sometimes and some boss battles are also though (like the kikimore queen). I had no problems with the semi-automated combat, alhough i do prefer to take full control. But Geralt can perform special attacks. And then there is the use of magic, like the Aard spell. And those mini-games are just great. I have no problems myself with the sex-encounters. And after all it is a mature game. From what i have read those sexcards you could pick up won't return in The Witcher 2.But the encouters would still be there.
The combatsystem is also going be changed.
