diablo movie "dream cast"

Post by terran698 »

if you were to make a movie about diablo 2 who would you cast for what roles?
my "dream cast" would be

amazon: debatable but the angelina jolie (w/tomb raider figure) would be my first pick
assassin: also debatable but for me would be Michelle Rodriguez
barbarian: Dalip Singh (aka the great khali) this is a nobrainer
druid: Viggo Mortensen with long hair (lord of the rings style)
paladin: i know hes getting old but bruce willis
necromancer: he just has the perfect look for this part Ian McKellen
sorceress: Halle Berry with the white hair from the x-men movies my number 2 pick would be megan fox

for music you would have to get the best hanz zimmer
the director(s) would have to be The Wachowski Brothers

thoughts?comments?questions?

And what would be the storyline anyway? "Yo, generic heroes, diablo arrived, go farm items from trillions of monsters and kill him. Also check out the cow level!"?

I hope that this movie is never made.

The chances of this ever happening are almost nonexistent, and the chances of it being any good if it was made are even more so... but hey, speculating is fun. And since my opinion will make absolutely no impact on who would actually be chosen, I'll go ahead and make use of time travel to get actors in their heyday.

Amazon- Lucy Lawless in her Xena days.
Barbarian- Gotta go with Arnold, preferably after he became good (True Lies, Total Recall era).
Assassin- Amy Acker in Dollhouse.
Paladin- Samuel L Jackson in Star Wars.
Druid- Kevin Sorbo in Hercules.
Sorceress- Eliza Dushku, also in Dollhouse.
Necromancer- I agree with you here, Ian Mckellan really does look the part.

Music: Blind Guardian
Director: Ridley Scott.

how would it be any different than the doom movie based off of doom3 (loosely), walk here shoot stuff walk there shoot stuff oops monster behind u turn around and shoot some more epic fight at end with big strong dude? i watch that movie all the time and it never gets old. and if you wanted a video/movie about farming items in d2 why not just stick to youtube? i think if they made a diablo movie that it would be blizzard quality and would be the sci-fi/action/horror movie of all time but they wont because they aren't done milking wow for everything its worth yet.

Ive nvr read any of them so I cant atest to their quality but there is a series of books based on Diablo. Why is a movie so umimaginable?
Success takes commitment. In a bacon and eggs breakfast the chicken is involved but the pig is committed...be the pig!!!
