climbing out of black swamp

Has anyone figured out how to climb out of the black swamp? I dropped in to grab one of the good swords before getting the password and haven't found a spot to climb back out.

I checked all the climbing maps I could find and haven't seen a spot on them either.

any help would be appreciated.

I never found a way out, and I tried for a long time as the only alternative was reverting to a save from long before. In the end I had to suck it in and revert, wasted a lot of time on that.

PS You could try using the editor, but be warned it never got out of beta, so it isn't flawless.

There is supposed to be a way to climb out along the wall south of the talking stones, but I've never been able to climb out.
