possible spoiler Killing the head Qun
He is wiping me out. The Akasock or what ever. The last Qun. Is there anyway not to fight this dude? Or are there any ideas. I keep running out of potions and I had 9 a the start of the fight. I am a warrior with a two handed blade.

The Arishok isn't an overly difficult fight, but can be avoided. If you choose to fight him, you can solo him or fight him and his minions as a group, but this yields less rewards. This fight can be avoided if Isabela returns to you and you choose to hand her over to the Arishok - but that permenantly removes her from the party.
What you need to do is keep kiting him around, and doing your special moves, every time they're off cooldown. Also, hitting "R" will slide your character to the nearest enemy (the Arishok in this case) and will allow you to hit and run much easier.

“The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially.”
The fight is really stupid.
You basically need to run around all the time, the two pillars are particular helpful as you can run around them and then hit occasionally.
You'll also have to stay away from most of his attack - some of his moves however are impossible to avoid if you're anywhere near him, so save potions for that.
Stamina potions or generating skills are important.
And even if you "solo" the fight, you can summon your dog as well for a little extra.

When he does the bull charge thing, position yourself so that when you move out of his way, he will run into a pillar. That will stun him for a while. When he's doing something else, just keep running. :mischief:
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

I fought him by first killing off his henchmen/followers. By the time he was alone, he was down to less than 25% health.
PS: Isabella can be removed from party if you don't do her quest in Act 3 (which is what I did). Also, Mage: Spirit Healer (Cleansing Aura Permanently active), with Heal, both Glyphs, Arcane Shield, and other similar defensive spells. Only offensive capability Hawke had was her staff. Hawke's health never dropped below 85%. Neat trick, eh?
