What dous strenght do for my damage bonus?

When do i get damage bonusses with strengt?
En dous dex do the same for Tac0??

All this is really basic knowledge. You should read your manuals - that's what they are for; to answer those kind of questions. And if you ripped the game, the manual is in your BGII directory.

Str bonus is given in melee combat and with thrown weapons. (not bows - unless it's a trowing bow)
Dex grants bonusses to AC and to your THAC0 with missile weapons (bows, darts ect)

@Rapier: He did not mention the Warez site. He merely was making a point that "Ripped" copies of the game often do not contain the manuals. Ease up on that trigger finger a bit.

High strenght will give you a bonus To Hit and To Damage when using a melee weapon.

Dexterity will give you a bonus To Hit when using a ranged weapon. I'm a bit unsure about Damage bonus when using a thrown one, such as an axe or hammer, but I believe somebody here can fill us in on that.

Dont worry about speaking of sins, I havent seen fables mark or bucks, so I think your safe.
Str affects all you hitting guys with your hands or melee, dex is with something out of a bow or light like darts.

Personally, I think strength is overrated. Id rather have 17 dex and 13 strength than vice versa
