Dual classing and proficiency question

Dual classing and proficiency question

So I've made a fighter with a 2* proficiency in bows. However when I dual-classed her to a mage at level 4 she lost the ability to use bows. Will she regain this ability back when she hits Mage level 5 or is it lost for good?

She will regain all abilities and proficiencies she had as level 4 fighter when she reaches level 5 as mage.
