My biggest beef when playing any multi or dual class Mage (or Kensai) is running around in my PJ's the whole game.
I know Elven Chain with a avatar change sort of fixes this for some classes but I'm not fond of that armor look either (the bright christmas green is obnoxious).
Is there a way using shadow keeper to make say a Mage/Thief look like they are always wearing Leather Armor? I'm not wanting to cheat per se, and allow spell casting with Armor on (a solution I considered), but if I have to... I have to I guess.
Tired of running around in my PJ's
Unfortunately not a full solution. There is a script that performs the same functionality.Dante2377 wrote:Yes, on the appearance tab. You can change it to something like "Thief human male" (there's a drop-down).
Basically, what you suggested will change the base look of the character. E.g. you can be a Elf Mage/Cleric/Thief/Fighter.
However, you'll still run around in your PJ's ( if you aren't wearing armor).
I want to look like I am wearing leather armor all the time (as an example), but without actually "wearing" it. I suppose a more extreme example would be, take a Kensai, but decide you want him to only look like he is wearing plate armor, all the time.
hmm..I know there's a BG2 tweak parameter to enable you to look like robes when you wear robes.
One thing you could do for your Kensai is modify whatever set of armor you want your kensai to look like he's wearing (using NearInfinity or IEEP) to have no armor class adjustment and no disabiling abilities and no weight and just assign it to him using Shadowkeeper.
Otherwise, you could find out the graphic file that is assigned to the armor you want to look like and edit an item to attach it to another item. But you'd probably have more success on a modding forum for that.
