I decided to go with a rollplaying party which will be more interesting than brute force of mages with 18 strength and zero charisma.
Do you know of points in the quest where you need a skill to pass on? Such as the eye of the dragon?
Skills needed to complete the game?

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
thanks kmonster ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/)

eye of the dragon is the big one.Claudius wrote:Do you know of points in the quest where you need a skill to pass on? Such as the eye of the dragon?
else i'd say:
search / disable device should be above average for trap detection and removal - the yuan-ti areas have some traps that can be very annoying (and even reset)
wilderness lore should have a few points for fell wood. on a high wis character you don't need that many points.
spellcraft for casters that scribe scrolls, 10 pts (net) for casters & elemental feats.
for a roleplay party i'd put some emphasis on the talking skills - diplomacy, bluff and or intimidate, having at least one maxed.
the weidu site has a list off all the skill checks: http://weidu.org/IWD2-QuestSkillList.txt
"all around you is tinder for the gods"
Thanks for the suggestions.
