If you are drawn to it...attack it...get obsessed with it and conquer it...it doesn't matter if you think you can do it or not..its all in your head. Nikki Sixx <3

Hey there!

Firstly, you need to decide on a rule set (DnD, Star Wars d20, Call of Cthulu, Vampire: the Masquesrade, etc.). Then find a campaign using your desired rule set and read through it, taking note of how players interact with the world and characters there in. Once you have a good idea of how a game progresses make a character and think about how he/she would react in the situations the players encountered in your 'study' campaign. When you are confident in your abilities search the web for a new campaign. It worked for me :o , just remember these things take time.

Good luck :)

@My.angelica did you ever find a group? I still wouldn't mind to play if anyone has a group. I would prefer dedicated people who don't flake out.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
