Restore Anomen from vampire? HELP!

Post by lisaras13 »

The only thing written about how to restore Anomen from being a vampire is this that i pasted in the end. But when I come till Umar Hills Temple Ruins and go to the 2nd level, there is no female statue there. Can please someone help me?

"When I went to get the elven lantern from Bohdi, she kidnapped Anomen and turned him into a vampire (don't know if this happens with other male romantic interests, it didn't happen with Jaheria, though I might not have been as far along with her at the time). Killing Bodhi (and Anomen) initiates the 'reverse vampirism quest'. All you gotta do is grab Anomen's body and Bodhi's black heart and go to the Temple in the Umar hills. Go to the woman statue in Level 2 of the Temple Ruins, above where you have marked '7'. Place Anomen's body and Bodhi's heart into it. He'll ask (IIRC) to rejoin and if you can still accept him after he had become a vampire."

That statue is in the room on the left directly above the letter puzzle room.
:) Once again time to give someone the boot to make room for Coran. LOL :)

As far as I remember (not yet there on my current playthrough) before you go traipsing off to the Temple Ruins you need to talk to the Priest of Oghma in the docks district.

The statue you want as was mentioned before is the one on the other side of the floor puzzle.

I don't think you have to talk to the priest at the Oghma temple or the book salesman at Imnesvale although the game will lead you that way. I'm actually pretty certain you don't need to speak to the priest not to certain about the salesman. If you find the statue and it still doesn't work can't hurt to talk to both.

BTW I'm sorry your romancing Anomen, truely I am! He does wind up being a powerful character however.

thanks, the directions where wring, I realise, it's on the 1st level, not 2nd.

I can see why you're sorry for me romancing Anomen, but he is the only romance for a female character. After ten years playing BG I finally got all the way with the romance, just to have done it.

You certainly don't need to talk to anyone - the statue will reverse vampirism anyway, whether you follow clues or a walkthrough. And I don't think the temple ruins in Umar Hills actually have a second level.

Anomen romance is not bad if you roleplay a paladin or a holier-than-thou priestess. Otherwise - well, that's where the mods come in. Plenty of interesting guys to be downloaded out there. Lisa, you should check them out if you've played the game a bit already :)
