Unfortunately i cannot correct it. Was reading a 2005 thread about romancing Saerileth which said that you need a charisma of 17 in order to romance her.
There is an exploit that increases your charisma considerably so that even with a low charisma you can do it. This will enable you to romance her even if you currently only have a charisma of 3. In fact it is easier with a charisma of 3.

Wear the ring that you get in the circus. Kill the lich in the inn at the gate into Amn. A staff will be dropped. If you used this staff it will reduce your charisma from time to time. When your charisma reaches zero, you would normally die, but not if wearing the ring. When you think that your charisma is LESS than zero, take off the ring and you will find that it is probably 20+. If you time it right you can make it 25, but if you time it slightly wrongly, you could end up dead, so err on the safe side.
