F/M/C hla problem

Post by Cherrypopper »

My fmc is already around 13/13/13 lvl and so far I could I only choose fighter hla. Is this how it's going to be? No mage or cleric hla? Come on u want me to go solo on isane without 9 lvl spells or these strong summons u get later.

What is it exactly like with multiclass high level abilities?

And why the hell i can only put 2 stars in 2 weapon style while fmt can put 3

WTF

You need BG2 Tweaks.

Lets you do most of the things that you'll want to do.

Don't know about HLAs though.

First of all, it's possible to solo on insane with the F/M/C just the way it is. Second, these limitations are most likely in place to make sure the F/M/C isn't overpowered, which it is anyway. You don't even need the summons - you should be fine by yourself, since the character is quite literally a juggernaut of destruction.

The F/M/T also doesn't get mage HLAs, except for the extra spellslots, as for the rest of the multiclasses, they can pick from the pool of HLAs belonging to their respective classes, and with a bonus to - some abilities that are only allowed to be picked once (Assassination for instance) can be picked up multiple times.

Yea it probably is on 13 lvl I only have problems with dragons and liches(didn't go to brynlaw yet). I am trying not to use a lame way to kill anyone.

Btw why do I see cleric's hla list but I can't choose them?
Will they get unlocked later on higher levels or fmc only gets fighter hla's?

Focus on the warrior part of your tri-class, and just buff yourself to immortality, then beat stuff to death with a highly enchanted weapon.
M13 does have level 6 spells already, thus... ;)

I think that M/C is more overpowered than F/M/C. :D

Well I removed xp cap but also installed ascension which is quite a combo with insane difficulty. Demogorgon was very hard but ascension Abazigal omg ridiculous even for fmc. Time for Baltazar and final.

Which weapon do you think is better runehammer+5 or flail of ages+5?
I am using 2 weapons and 1 is crom.

And what is the difference between 2d4 and 1d6 for example?

The runehammer is a very specific weapon, flail of ages is better, although the free action can be annoying. The difference between 2d4 and 1d6 is that in the first case you're rolling two 4 sided dice ( min 2, max 8 ) and in the second - one 6 sided ( min 1, max 6 ).

Is there a way to rest between final battles on ascension? It is not really possible to save so many spells for all of them...

I think that there is a mod that gives you a rod of refuge which enables you to go to a room for rest and storage of valuables. When I know a bit more I'll let you know, but you should be able to google it yourself.

Just remembered, mod is Konalan's Tweaks which has some other interesting stuff too along with some over-powered items that you can obtain using Shadowkeeper.

Warning! Norton thinks that it has a virus but this is a false positive.
