Screenshots?

Post by GawainBS »

I tried taking some with the in-game command (F10), but I can't find them anywhere. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Windows 7?
Try looking in something like:
C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\Vampire\screenshots

Yes, it's Win7, but there's nothing like that there.

It should be...

...in the Vampire folder. Are you using a modded game? Check the keyboard controls on the options, I'm not sure but I think some mods move around the key commands.

Try also the documents directory. Could be in there too.

Yes, I did check for the screenshots folder. I'm not a complete idiot. :p The folder isn't there.

You could search C:\ for *.tga - if that doesn't turn up any vtmb screenshots they weren't taken. May take a few minutes but trying out our ideas takes much longer.

I'll search for tga-files. I double checked the key for screenshots, and even tried with "Print Screen", but alas.

Update: apparently not a singel TGA file on my PC.

That it didn't take them, or couldn't write them (you could try running it as admin for a test). If F10 is correctly bound then all i can think of is using print-screen and alt-tabbing to paste and save the image with an image editor. Or Fraps.

The problem was that I was trying to take a screenshot from the charactersheet/characterinfo page, not from the game-world itself. A pity, though, as I wanted screenshots of the stats & history.

Thanks for the help nevertheless!
