I'm stuck in samarach SoZ, do I have a bug?

I recently purchased NWN2 platinum from steam, really enjoying it.... in SoZ I can't get out of the Bazaar in Samarach past the captain and his gaurds. Is there another way out? or do I have ... a bug. I stopped playing because of the frustration. could anybody help me out

Have you gone over and talked to both Sa'Sani and Volo completely?

(..if yes, then it's probably a bug.)

thanks for the response< I did talk to them completely....

It makes the game hard if you can't leave the city.
