Quest and guilds (Possible spoilers Misc quest)

Post by Nastypoet »

I know doing some quest ruin other quest IE getting the book for the dark elf if you plant the ring on him for the thieves guild, do any of the quest ruin major quest if done out of order or is it only misc quest?

Also is there a spell to feather in this game like oblivion or must i rely on my amulets, rings and potions???

Playing on PS3 so no mods or command codes can help me which sux cause midas magic looks dope

As far as I know you have to rely on equipment and potions to increase the weight you can carry (also putting points in stamina when you lvl up).

You don't have to get the dark elf arrested by planting the argonian's ring in his strongbox to progress in the Thieves guild questline. You can agree to do it and then drop the ring on the street and tell Brynjlof you lost it and he'll be a little dissapointed, but he'll still talk to you and direct you to the thievesguild hideout. Once you reach the hideout, he'll give you more quests (or maybe it's just one quest) to prove your worth to the guild (all will get these quests, not only those who chose not to frame the dark elf). I don't know if you can still do the dark elf's quest if you frame him, but I think you can, after he's been arrested he can be found in the Riften jail.

If you're doing the mainquest to find Esbern you can either choose to help Brynjolf (but also drop the ring as described above if you're so inclined) or if you have a high speech skill you can convince him that helping you is good for business in the long run.
