Updating or Patching

Post by Fearless »

Today when I opened up I found that "Steam" were downloading some 155 mbs for Skyrim without the option of giving the "go ahead" or "wait till later" or given any information on what I was receiving. Has any one else had this problem??

By default, Steam always auto-patches your games, and then you have to look on the News page (under Product Updates) to see what changed -- not that they have today's update listed; you can see those changes on the news page of this site and elsewhere.

If you don't want Steam to auto-patch Skyrim, then right click on the title, select Properties, and then open the Updates tab.
