Having sound-related problems, would love some help

Post by Gabe »

Hi y'all

I think my game is bugging out a bit. If it isn't, well, there's something about the game I'd love to get rid of.

It's a track, very similar to the theme "Severed Hand Interior", that loops ad infinitum in the background of most areas (including all towns/settlements) unless the area's assigned tune is being played. As much as the track is kind of catchy, it can really ruin the ambience. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Ooh, and I have another sound-related problem; the weapon sounds in my game are very weird. Kind of like somebody taking a bite of a potato chip. I'm pretty sure that's not normal.

I have HoW and TotLM installed, and I'm running Windows 7.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated (so long as it's not "run as administrator" or "change compatibility mode". All those do is hide my saved games).

Thanks,
Gabe

Have you tried fiddling around with your sound options in the game? Otherwise, a completely fresh install on a clean folder might help you.
