VanGoethe the Lich - Help

Any strategies for whipping this Lich after getting Marlowe to agree to meet up with his end of the bargain?

I've tried a bunch of times, but the Skeletons with Arrows of Fire get to be too much.

Let's see, there are a number of ways; pick your poison:

1. Daystar Longsword

2. Set traps

3. Cast protection from magic and hammer away

4. Conjuration

But if your PC is a monk, WELL! Makes things easier

Seriously though... gotta catch my breath

...handle him like all the other liches.

Remember turn undead, they're immune to level 5 and lower spells, abi-dalzim's horrid wilting kicks ass, ruby ray takes off spell traps, pierce shield lowers magic resistance and breaches protections, imprisonment is awesome, and most important of all try not to use cheesy tactics like traps and protection from magic scrolls.
