The image can cast every spell you can, but do it have traps if you play an illusionist/thief?

dunno...

user...
Being an Evil Overlord seems to be a good career choice. It pays well, there are all sorts of perks and you can set your own hours. However every Evil Overlord I've read about in books or seen in movies invariably gets overthrown and destroyed in the end. I've noticed that no matter whether they are barbarian lords, deranged wizards, mad scientists or alien invaders, they always seem to make the same basic mistakes every single time. Therefore, if I ever happen to become an Evil Overlord, ...

Yes you can. I tried it once with Jan Jansen against Melissan. Only had to fight her in the first battle :D

It's a complete copy of "you", except that it can't use contingencies and gets killed by True Sight and dispels. Oh, and it uses up its own copies of your items, not yours.

Best spell in the game, IMO. :)

yes, it is a part of stupid jan jenson tricks book....

best part is, like the yoshimo infinte traps exploit, you can cast aas many project images as you have and really trap an area for total cheese...

oh, and as I have mentioned before, if you shapechange an image it can attack meelee as well, and thus you have the quadruple mind flayer attack of doom strategy posted in the soa forum.

I have taken down dragons as an image, so does anyone know if you get the kill stat for you images?
They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

Muwahahahahhahahha!!!

No, your char doesn't receive the credit (like in "most powerful enemy vanquished") for kills made by images (IIRC)

That's one of the reasons that i don't use (many) cheese images (mainly in ToB)

Some of the other reasons are that it launches my 3xAbi chain cont set to helpless (i just use them when it REALLY is necessary - never :D )

Also, they can't launch triggers & co.

and also, if you don't think it's right to sleep every time, just use the 3 scrolls of wish in the game from your insighted simmys for rest... it works very often, so the advantage of the images of not wasting your spells is negligible since in most of the battles you don't even have the opportunity of launching most of your high level spells - they are so many... ;) .

Well, there's more, for later (i'm gonna go have lunch...)
