Games like Heavy Rain?

Post by tinaniur »

I finally got around to playing Heavy Rain for the PS3.
I pretty much beat it in 2 sittings and was impressed
with it. I will probably play it again in a few months
to see alternative scenes. I have also played most of
the telltale games, Walking Dead, Back to the Future,
Jurassic Park etc..
I was wondering if there were others games out there
like this. Doesn't matter what system, PC, PS3, Xbox,
Wii. I really enjoyed these types of games and wouldn't
want to miss out on others.

The only one that I can think of is Fahrenheit(Indigo Prophecy), it is a odd game and it is very interesting game.. mostly because of how crazy the plot is, I imagine the developers were seriously high when they made it :p

It is also made by the same people that made Heavy Rain, it came out in like 2005ish if I recall correctly, it is out for the PC and you can get it on GOG.com

I never played Heavy Rain, but all of the Telltale games you've listed are adventures, and there have been a ton of adventures released over the years. Depending on how far you want to go back, Sierra Online's old Quest games are good, anything from LucasArts (including the original Sam&Max and Monkey Island games) are good, and you could also try out adventures like Syberia and The Longest Journey.
