Just out of dhear curiosity I want to know what was your all time greatest triumph BG2 battle wise that you have witnessed, Slayer songle handedly rip irenicus to shreds etc.
"Include a party member list as well for those all important NPC combos."
Please be descriptive "bloody chunks of demogorgan flesh ripped from his guaged out eye" that sort of thing.
This is sort of a poll so dont go TO overboard. :D

taking me (barb/thief), korgan, viccy, and edwin on a race through suldanessalar. The goal was to run through the city and beat the snot out of everything. korgan, viccy, and edwin were so buffed by this point, it wasn't even very difficult. Of course, there is the small factor that I had already cleared out watchers keep before doing suldanessalar. So the foursome just raced through the elven city under seige snapping adamantite golems like toothpix.
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

My fifth party's Spellhold fight with Uncle Jon. One of the team of inspired lunatics that joined us in the battle (I forget who, at the moment) pulled something I hadn't seen before: they cast Death Fog. This killed off all the evil clones, at the cost (cough) of killing all everybody on mine side except three of my personal gang, and Jon. Fortunately, Irenicus was so far gone that he quickly gated out.

That's when the parade of assassins began to arrive. Amazingly, Imoen was able to keep two at bay (presumably Stoneskin helped), while I used the resurrection wand to bring back Anomen, my cleric. He was under attack almost at once, but had excellent armor and a fine weapon. Oddly enough, Cernd, whom I'd had alive all along, was being severely beaten up in his greater wolfwere form, so I kept him on the run until I could dislodge his pursuers, and let him revert back to human for a few spellcasts.

It's nice how the game occasionally throws a spanner into the works, and derails the obvious from time to time. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I planned to test the Improved Mace of Disruption +2 on Kangaxx the Demilich. Didn't think it would do anything, but he went down on the first swing. :D

I also foolishly ran into the Lesser Demon Lord in the Drow Temple while still not packing a +4 weapon. Again, the Improved Mace of Disruption +2 did the job, this time in two swings. :)

When I first started playing SOA and I had no idea of what tactics worked I was stumbling around Athlkatla. I remember the epic battles and careful strategies I had to come up with to take down the gang in the sewers. I didn't know what spells countered what, so they would just toast me! I was so happy when I finally killed them.
May you walk on warrrrm sannd....

Well i recently took Nalmissra and her band of bad guys down single handedly with my invoker gone slayer mode... he had abjuration protection so imprisonment wasnt an option for the hive mother and thus it was a sweet victory for my child of bhall.
Demogorgan (tanked up, hard mode) on the other hand was one of my worst defeats.

A good one I remember is when I walked into the shadow dragon's lair without any preparation just wanting to test him out and ended up killing him in an all-out brawl. He was buffeting my characters all over the place and Minsc was running around in a panic practically the whole battle. Aerie heroically ran in to resurrect Jaheira and ended up drawing the big lizard's attention. She raised Jahiera and started running but before my protagonist landed the killing blow, he shot an acid spout at her and fried her. Being my first dragon death, it was great to see the SOB collapse in a giant heap while I incredulously looked on.
