Can you rest in the wilderness?

Post by Claudius »

I received my first serious wounds from a wolf and I am wondering if you can rest in this game or if you have to go back to a town/inn every time you have wounds or spells running out.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Yes you can, but being attacked by 'wandering' monsters is always a risk. Always summon as many monsters/undead as you can before resting.

Thanks for the tip. I hunted around on google and found how to rest in terms of hitting the right shortcut or mouse click tooltip. It turns out that you have to be in the map screen to rest. In the map screen there is a shut eye with eyelashes.

My routine was Q then Z, Q to quick save the game then z to rest. but yes you do have to be on the map screen for the hot keys to work as I recall.

You also get the rest icon if you are viewing your charcter personal information page I believe.
