finding skull for thalantyr

Post by Claudius »

Thalantyr needs a skull to turn his apprentice from a polymorphed chicken back to his regular self. He needs a skull.

I have cleared most areas, but maybe a wandering monster can give me a skull. By most areas I mean those other than the bandit camp quest line and the cloakwood quest line. Some of the hard fights I am saving for higher level like that party of villains outside the backdoor to Neshkel mines.

So I have already fought bassilicus before the polymorphed chicken. And some other maps. The firewine bridge had skeletons but they apparently had no heads because I did not find skulls :D

Any suggestions? Areas for wandering monster skeletons or somewhere further on in the game? As I say I researched each area for how hard things were and did most but not all of the regular content of the map.

Just outside the High Hedge there are several spots where skeletons regularly respawn. So all you need is hack them to pieces and pick up one of their skulls. (SPOILER: keep in mind that the outcome of the transformation is random. I would suggest a separate save before the procedure.)

Hope it'll help.
