It says in the wpn description that there is no save. But I have just got it and I tested it on Minsc (no enemies about) and he was allowed to save vs death. Anybody know why. Is it jst bcos I was using it on a memv=ber of my party?

the ravager has a few effects, one is the 10% death, the 2nd is poison damage.

minsc may be saving vs the poison damage.

Correct - the poison damage allows a saving throw.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
