yomang,

There is a book called Elminister's ecologies which can be found numerous places which IIRC tells how to deal with many of the new nasties. The Magic Golem requires NONMAGICAL weapons to kill IIRC. - Curdis

There must be dozens of those books between the entrance and the first magic golem. How could you miss them!? ;)

lol, man yomang, I must confess youve brightened my day, by trying everything but nothing. Quite amusing.

Those blased golems made me carry a non magical wpn for my entire party.
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.

@Xyx - that was a bit harsh - yomang may be role playing a character who doesn't read :)
@Knight Errant - with the exception of monks and possibly the protagonist bare hands are non-magical. Punching things can also give humorous results (like them being knocked unconscious). I seem to recall knocking out one of the bosses when I forgot to reequip weapons after using throwing axes or some such. - Curdis

Umm, personally, I'd find something wrong in punching golems that are radiating magical energy, but whatever.

And really, its not as if the monks fists are ENCHANTED, he can just hit things really hard and accurately.

Go ahead and try it...it works (assuming the golem don't knock you flat first) :D

But really, that's all unnecessary, since wherever there's magic golems, there's a stash of non-magical weapons *conveniently* lying around nearby. (In the watcher's keep, Machine of Lum level, just check some of the cabinets nearby.)
