How to get to 40

How does anyone level up to 40? I run out of things to do and kill at 34.

The best thing for you to do is to finish the normal difficulty and start going through Nightmare.

that was what i feared. I am on my 5th time through on normal with different characters.How many times do you have to play this to find all the things you are supposed to read or ex-lore?

Many of the lore items are random, and only show up with a low probability. The best way to find them is to look up where they spawn, then start your game under the quest that encompasses that area, then reach the checkpoint closest to the lore item's spawn point, and then repeatedly start your game from that point and look for the lore item. This can get more than a little tedious, so you have to decide just how much you want to complete the achievements.
