missing hp?!?!

Post by Rob-hin »

Hi,

I was just playing ToB when I noticed my total hit pints had dropt.

In my auto save I have 149 Hp, and in my Quick save (mutch further) I only have... What now??? In the game I was missing about 20 points, and I just open ShadowKeeper and there I now only have 101 Hp???

Also, some time ago I started getting lore points (in the auto save 3 lore points in total I think),now I don't have any...

I'm a wizzard slayer, and I don't think the are supposed to get any lore points, right?

What the piiiiieeep is going on???

Thanx,
Rob-hin

Ps. This keeps ketting weirder, I changed my hp back to 149 (in the game I still had 20 hp less) and suddenly in the game I had 195 Hp?!

Mayby it helps to say I'm curretly in Watcher's keep, I dunno.

Help me if you can,PLEASE...!

Have you been level drained, or have you taken off certain pieces of equipment that might've helped you?

If not, it might have something to do with the ToB glitches. Try downloading the new patch.

Just thought I point out that the HP you see in Shadow Keeper is only the Base HP, while the HP you see in the game is the Base + Bonus HP - the Bonus HP/Level depends on your Constitution score, you can scroll down on the right hand side of the Character Records screen to find out your Bonus HP/Level. Also all classes gains Lore points when they level up, Wizard Slayer gets 1 point per level and bonuses due to Wisdom and Intelligence score.

So the reason why you're losing HP and Lore might be because you're losing ability scores. Check your Constitution, Wisdom and Intelligence from the Auto Save and the Quick Save and see if there are any differences. If not, then I'm out of ideas.

Strange it is, it sure is, but with Shadowkeeper you cannot edit TOb-files, or can you?

There is a shadowkeeper update for ToB
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

It depends on what version of Shadow Keeper you got, version 2.1.0 and higher can edit ToB files - the current version is 2.1.4

In TOB, in several occasion u will lost hit points. So u must be careful in making any decision. There are 3 occasions that may cause ur loss in HP as far as i know:

1, In the beginning of TOB, ur Evil brother Savorok, will ask u to rasie him. If u did rasie him, u may lose 4-6 hp, or certain percent of hp, (i m not quite sure). But if u raise him, u can use him as a party member.

2. In watcher's keep, level 2, u will bump into a group of nymph. If u ask them to take u to the portal, u will not wander in maze anymore. bUT U WILL LOSE SOME HP TOO.

3. IN THE same level of watcher's keep, u will run into a monster. He will invite u to play gambling. Of course, if u win, u may get the most powerful scimitar in the game. However, if u lose, u may lost HP too.

That's it. U may lose HP in these occasions i guess. But unless u use cheat code, i can't think of any idea that u can restore ur HP.

Thanx anyway!
