when i gambled with the cambion, i got emperor (or something) as my last draw. is the midshield effect permenant? as in, cannot be removed even if you try?

It will wear off after a week or so. Funny, I don't think it even made a difference. Mind Flayers still kept screwing me.

Does that 1 week rule apply to the silence curse as well?
It's sad not being able to use my Monk abilites. (Or get a discount from his charisma at 20)

A remove curse will clear up that and any other negative effects on the gambler.
